At the risk of losing a few hundred friends on Twitter, here’s a Dose of the book from the First Chapter:

Perez Hilton, an online gossip columnist, is deeply offended by the words of Miss California as she competes to be Miss USA. Carrie Prejean was asked if she supported Gay Marriage, she politely said that she did not. Such a simple little disagreement seems to harbor no deeper meaning, no deeper signal. Or does it?

Could this little fight signal a fundamental change in American culture and attitudes? Could it be a signal that the very ground under our feet has changed? Could this signal the end of any safe place for Christians in the USA?

Perez Hilton was Unforgiving. This is a very important point. Perez did not default to “Free Speech” or “agree to disagree.” He continued the fight on his website and on talk shows where he called Carrie some very harsh words. He knew he was right. If you know that you are right, you don’t forgive.

The Coming Age Will Be Unforgiving on Christians

No exceptions. As President George W Bush once said: “You are either with us, or against us.” It is black and white. It is binary. No gray area. No exemptions. Even one person disagreeing with Heaven on Earth means that there can be no Heaven on Earth. That person must be thrown overboard.

Christians are Going to Find Out Exactly what Love Means

Love is limitless and what you would do for the one you love is also limitless. You would go without food for them. You would endure torture, you would abandon and hate your self just so you could keep loving them. Not the stuff of comfy society, but every bad thing you have tried to avoid all your life are the exact things that will be poured on you full strength because you were foolish enough to believe the Jesus Myth.

Still with me?

Do you see how the Age itself has reversed? Good is Evil and Evil is Good. Preachers are preaching about the “perfectibility” of Man. They are speaking of a “collective divine nature.” All this talk is certainly a better alternative than facing reality. If you’d like to face reality as a Christian you can simply say out loud: “I deserve to be killed.”

No Strings Yet Guided From Above

No human strength will endure this New Era. You might as well try to stop a speeding car by putting your hand out flat like a cop. You will just end up a mess in the street. So why this book? Why dwell on Agony?

Here’s Your Guide to Hell On Earth

“Forewarned is forearmed.” If we can see how grotesque, how insidious, how inside out the Era will become; then when it attacks like lightning, we won’t be in shock. We won’t fall over. We will have a small string to the reality above. To God’s way. You won’t fall. You will take the hits, but your soul will live.

You will be covered in your own blood. Slipping and sliding not under your own control. But still moving toward heaven. Leaving everything behind and not caring if it burns in a heap. Reality is not in this current era. But God is right here. Right next to you in the cell.

You’re NOT Going to Be Thrown Away After All

Just beyond the last possible moment the gates will open for you. The old ways and mistakes are forgotten. Whatever was in you that made you do those things has been removed by God Himself. Without harming the real you. The dark thing that was in you is now suffering in Hell. You are on high completely filled with light.

You were clinging to a weak and worthless version of yourself all those years. Defending something that should never have been defended because it wasn’t worth anything at all. That “other you” was a version of someone else. God has saved you in spite of who and what you are.

Brothers and Sisters, give me your best ideas so I can make this the Best Book Possible.

With all possible respect, the excerpts above sound almost like rants instead of constructive ways to witness. I don’t believe that’s the case, but I would ask that you include a bit more. I know you are concerned about losing sales if you put too much out there, but there needs to be a little more, please, for an adequate review. This book is a wonderful idea.
Here’s something you can use, if you want. I am a RN. I can no longer work taking care of patients on inpatient units, which I miss terribly because of the opportunities to witness to people gently and without forcing the issue. Once, I had been through the exhausting process of taking care of multiple end stage patients who were suffering greatly from whatever it was that was killing them slowly and painfully (not all with cancer; seeing someone die of COPD, CHF, AIDS, renal disease, and many other chronic illnesses in the end stage is just as bad). I asked God why He allowed so much suffering. His Spirit spoke to mine and said, “Eternity is a lot longer to spend in agony, and that’s why I put them in your care. This is My grace, giving them more time to come to Me or to come back to Me.” I had to apologize in tears for thinking non-spiritually. What seems like torture can actually bring someone closer to Him – or drive them away. But I had one “advantage” others didn’t – I was working with painful chronic conditions; like several of my techs and nursing colleagues, I knew what suffering meant to me and could extrapolate the extremities of what the worsening of a condition could do to a person’s spiritual health. It often formed a bridge to admit this. I have always taught those I precepted, and later in the role of a hospital educator, those I taught who were nurses and techs, to make sure they see to patient’s pain needs, physical needs, emotional needs, but especially their spiritual needs. I always taught fellow believers not to ridicule or put down the patient’s belief system, but to ask them about it to provide comfort in that framework, but also to open a door to share your belief system with them as information. And to be open about their own struggles to work with chronic illnesses to open another door. To witness with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and let Him lead, to avoid losing someone of another faith in the attempt to share the Good News. You have to go gently, but you can get them so that they will hear and can make an intelligent choice. You can witness to how Jesus will uphold them if their families object to their choice; you can help their families accept that this is the choice of a dying, suffering family member and if led, share your information with them in the hopes of spreading the Good News still further. Their passing will be into joy, not torture.
With the worsening of my own illnesses, I have had to do something I swore I would never do – ask for disability help. I have lost so much of my life to these conditions. And no amount of “positive thinking” or “energy” has stopped the progression. Jesus has helped me every step of the way. I could not do anything without Him, especially not when I feel the loss of some things (like nursing) so acutely that it grieves me deeply. There is no way I could survive this without Jesus. It’s hard enough with Him! I know, though, that once I get to Heaven, there won’t be any more pain and I will gain far, far more than I have lost and that sustains me.
I pray this is of some use to you.

Hi Amy,

The book is a “rant” in a sense. The book is written in the mindset of a Christian who is being tortured and killed in the final days of this planet. The book is also a wake up call, so it needs to be intense to shake Christians awake. Thank you for your insights. I think somehow you and I are on the same wavelength.

Amazing links, thanks. By the way, I think the Antichrist will be killed and resurrected from the dead. He is a replica of Christ. Of course, he probably uses some technological way to transfer life. In other words, steal from many to benefit the one.

While I would agree that the church faces some very real persecution, good is being called evil and vice versa, I think it will be a difficult book to write. We need to speak the truth in love, and be vocal about Who we are for, not just what we are against. I’m praying that you capture this in your work.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for inviting me to submit feedback. You’ve asked a difficult question of a difficult person:_)

Seriously, had you written this book 20 years ago, I’d be lapping it up. At that time, I was very much into the alarmist interpretations of prophecy put out by Hal Lindsey, Tim La Haye, and others. The problem was that so many pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that appeared to fit perfectly turned out to be misplaced. According to the books I was reading, the expansion of the European Union to ten (10) members in 1979, when Greece joined, represented the 10 horns of Daniel’s beast – and I couldn’t help but notice how these same people kept rearranging the puzzle pieces when the European Union expanded from 10 members to 12, then 15, then 20, then 25, then 27. Russia (Gog and Magog) was going to attack Israel in the 1980s, get wiped out by God. A much respected Bible-teacher and prophecy “expert” in my own country (New Zealand) warned us that Y2K (1 January 2000) would result in all computers around the world snuffing out, disrupting communications and creating a power vacuum that would likely usher in the rule of the Antichrist. Many Christians prepared for it by stockpiling food and other essential items. The preacher I told you about looked silly when Y2K turned out to be nothing more than Yeltsin throwing in the towel as Russia’s President (and by the way, the Yeltsin era shouldn’t even have happened – Russia was going to be wiped out by his time).

Don’t get me wrong, Paul. I believe every word of the Bible, including the prophecies about the end times. But I’ve come to realize that we don’t always understand as much as we think we do. The popular interpretations that I mentioned about turned out to be WRONG. Some of those who were wrong have apologized; the great majority have not. They have simply rearranged the puzzle pieces and are still selling their theories.

When it came to interpreting prophecies of the Bible, when was the last time you heard a Bible teacher say the words, “I DON’T KNOW”? I’d be hard put to remember when I heard any preacher utter those words. Yes, prophecy is a jigsaw puzzle, preachers attempt to put the puzzle together – and VERY dogmatically insist that their interpretation is correct. A lot of time, and money, and energy is WASTED this way. Instead of trying endlessly to fit the puzzle together, why can’t we just allow events to take their course? The puzzle will assemble itself as time goes on.

We should be watching and waiting prayerfully, not engaging in endless speculation.

Paul, I really appreciate the INTENT of your book. I agree with the need to be prepared for the worst – I really do. What bugs me is that I’ve already seen too many Christians get distracted from what God has called them to be doing in the here and now. The Bible tells us to fix our eyes on Jesus, not on the world. Whether your book achieves that objective or not, I cannot say, as I haven’t read it in its entirety. But I hope it does.

Thanks for the opportunity to critique your book Paul. Of course, there is not much of the end book there to look at, but I believe that America is comming to the end of an era. There is little doubt in my mind that we may, for the first time in our history face persecution as Christians. I suppose I should change that to read, we already are facing persecution. I expect it to get much worse in the very near future, unfortunately. We are definitely approaching significant challenges to our faith and modern Christianity has done little to prepare us for it. The feel good sermons that are popular now, or the God intends for you to be rich sermons have not grounded the masses in genuine faith. I applaud your efforts and pray that they will be the jolt that is necessary to awaken Christians to what is certainly impending difficulty and persecution. Remember that the Remnant has always remained and the masses have followed all of the wrong people. If your book leads one person to Christ, it was worth the effort. If it leads Christians to be more pro-active in our country, then it is worth the effort. What others have said is true. We cannot change the course that God has set for the end of the age, however, I do not believe He intended for us to sit back and do nothing. If you recall, the early Christians sat back and waited for Christ to return. Finally, they got up and started to do the things God expected them to do and it changed the entire world. I do not believe God expects us to just sit back and “take it”. I do believe He will work out history in His own time and in His own way. But that does not mean He will not use the efforts of many of us to accomplish that purpose.

Dear Paul,

I haven’t read your book yet, but I’m sure glad you have written it. The reason I stated the above is that while there are many books written by Christians from a Christian standpoint, the more we can help Christian’s understanding of the possessed world we live in, the better the developed sense we have of our defense of Christianity. When we are instructed to “put on the full armour of God”, much of our difficulty in doing so comes from the intentional confusion caused by Satan. 500 years ago, we depended on God’s sovereignty to protect Christians from evil, we knew our place in the Cosmos, and what we had to do to maintain our existence under a sovereign Lord Jesus Christ. While many today are being blinded by pagan cultures, condemned by a cult called Islam, there seems to be safety for those ignorant of Christianity being the easy way out of the spiritual war seculars cannot see, hear, feel.

My comments are simple, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ with all your heart. It is difficult because of the distractioins from seculars who suck us in to the swamp of confusion. Edmund Burke knew of such confusion, abstraction, as did others in our recent history. There is a book I am currently reading called “A Secular Age” by Charles Taylor. Since I am not a theologist, nor have I studied the last 500 years of Christian history, the book is a very esoteric comment on the history of secularism, current cultural conditions, and a deep dissection of the historical development of secularism with final conclusions based on some of the higher communicators of philosophy who would come to the same conclusions condemning secularism. I would strongly suggest you read it before you write your next book, it may supply you with some evidence from a professorial stance. Professor Taylor himself says that this book only scratches the surface of his extensive research into the subject of secularism, he says he can obviously write volumes of material just on this subject, but his warning is clear enough to let the reader know that you must read between the lines for an extension of thought(that does not lead to anything abstract) with his examples and explanations. While most intellectuals will go off into tangents, and Dr. Taylor definitely does, he eventually and respectfully brings the reader back to center of the subject and continues to amaze the reader with startling theory/conclusions.

I look forward to reading your books.

Scott,

Thanks so much for your comments. I will definitely check the book out. The coming seduction is going to be powerful enough to get most of humanity to destroy their lives for a divine con man. Giant and eternal regrets are on the horizon. Infinite sadness. We need to see this era in stark terms. It wants to seduce and destroy us.

First of all, I have to question the insight of someone who quotes a known Satanist/Skull & Bones Member such as G.W. Bush. Even though you just brought up his stupid quote that he used to get mindless “Christians” to buy into raping and torturing “terorists”, including children, to pitch your call for Heaven on Earth, your use of such a person’s quote proves that you have a lot to learn about what is really going on with “the church” today.
Read my blog at “WWJReallyDO.blogspot.com” to get a small taste of what I’m talking about. Read the book by a SECULAR writer (Alexandra Robbins) called “Secrets of The Tomb:Skull and Bones, The Ivy League, and the Hidden Paths of Power”, to find out what GW REALLY means when he claims to be “born again”.
I’m not sure I understand the Heaven on Earth comment because I read nothing of such a fantasy in the Bible. I have read about Christ creating a New Heaven and a New earth, but NOTHING mankind will do will bring about what only God can do.
The “church” in America has bought into the World Government formation. Unless “Christians” repent of failing God and start to read all of the obvious warnings in the Word about These End Times, we will hear these words from Christ, “Depart from me, I do not know you.” The Church won’t preach on this because they have become a tool of the One World Government system. (c) (3) was a trap to control speech in church. Only home-based real Bible-believing Churches-like those that existed in the first decade after Christ’s ascension will restore the “Church” to its rightful place with God!
Time is short! Wake up now before they outlaw Bibles. The hate-speech bills now in congress will outlaw quoting scripture online. See “truthtellers.org” to find out more!

Hi JW,

The Heaven on Earth I refer to is the coming Secular Order, and it’s going to be Hell on Earth for Christians. And I don’t consider George Bush a Christian. But all this is part of the Reverse Era that we now live in. It is tricky and very seductive.

Thanks for your clarification. It’s weird but somehow I “knew” or sensed that this was your feelings on the matter. That book that I mentioned was interesting but due to the author’s SECULAR viewpoint, she didn’t see the OBVIOUS Satan-worshiping nature of the Skull and Bones cult “sorority”.
Your right, I joke about the “reverse” thing to myself. The kids like spongebob and one day Squidward tricked Spongebob with what he called “opposite Day”. I’ve mused to myself that with Obama (and this whole One World Government movement) EVERY day is opposite day. Whatever they claim-its REALLY the opposite.
Its both exciting and scary to live in these end times but we must do God’s work, knowing that our reward is not for this earthly lifetime. Otherwise, we could be just as coward as these supposed “Christians”, who are supporting (if nothing else passively) the creation of this system because “ignore the REST of the Bible because the (Mis-)application of Romans 13 trumps the mountainous example of choosing service to God over selling out to worldly governments!

Hi JW,

I think many Christians are in a coma regarding the times we live in. I agree, every day is Opposite Day. And the worst evil will be presented as something quite “reasonable”.

There are some people out there who have truly crossed the PC line out there amongst the brethren for the sake of the truth. Good luck with your book. I have always wanted to write a book, but I don’t think I could now, if I did, with the time we have left, I’d just as soon give it for free in PDF than try to make a profit…God’s Word is enough for me!
